    Hi,

Lets say "someone" entered a half marathon in April but is not a runner. Are training plans from some web page worth doing or would getting out on the road once or twice a week be the best option?

I dont think "my friend" would have the patience for following a training plan but seeing as he has only done one 5k and one 10k so far should he at least try and figure out those training plans?

It depends on what his goals are, does he want to just get around the course or does he want to give it a good bash, either way he should follow one of these, which ever suits his goals http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/index.htm

Ah hahahahahahahahahaha this thread is funny! "Someone" once said "I'm getting into this running lark" and look where it's leading them.

Curses! Omniprescent Roper cracked my code....
You can get into all sorts of trouble during the holidays, feeling bored, bloated and slightly drunk and you reach for the laptop for a challenge:D

Went out for a 5k trot yesterday. It was a hard slog!

    Good day sir
