Has anyone tried this service? It's available in both Dundrum (for a fee) or Arnotts for free. If it's fairly decent i'd love to give it a go to take the pain out of finding something for a family wedding

A friend of mine used a personal shopper in Debenhams in Dublin - it was free. You will have to ring to make an appointment.

Thanks Saibh but there's a Debenhams in Galway so would be afraid of someone else getting the same outfit

My mom got the personal shopper in Brown Thomas before and thought it was excellent. It's free there too but she ended up buying lots of stuff anyway and she said she'd defo do it again!

I have an appointment with this stylist for 'wardrobe weeding'
http://eyeforstyle.org. She does personal shopping as well(not free though).

There was a girl in Harvey Nicks last year who was very good at picking out clothes for girls (went there with a girl I knew, she won best dressed afterwards) but she knew my mate was in a vulnerable way emotionally at the time and rolled out some big time expensive stuff even though she'd been given a budget (dresses that were E250 above budget for example). Thought that was really cheeky, and yes in the end my mate did buy the most expensive one. OP, most personal shoppers give discounts I think so if it's not the sales and you need something can be handy.
