It used to be a few months back that y right click worked on my laptop HP copaqNX6110 ( old thing 2003 maybe 2004 cant remember)

Seems from memory I got a microsoft window update and clicked on it to update the windows pro XP..Then after that right click left click seemed not to work as before.I cant get properties on right click .I have to get those things from the toolbar instead .

I tried a mouse through the USB but seemed to be the same thing .

Also the wireless when i tried to swich it back on wont switch on

I mostly use the dongle and the 3 web service but its better when i go to the libary to do big down loads on the wireless service in the libary

I will probably turn this laptop into a LINUX as this XP is crap

    Any ideas

    Derry

Stupid question but have you gone into Mouse settings in Control Panel and checked your settings there?

Uninstall and reinstall the driver for the trackpad?

sounds like you have something checked in control panel that shouldn't be checked , that or you have a driver curroption. once it happened if you tried a system restore it could have fixed it , since it's so far down the line the restore point is most likely gone.

I hope to God that that isn't his problem. :(
