i just found an old boylesports docket where i did usa to win the ryder cup 16-12 at 14/1. the score ended up to be 16.5-11.5. i cant remember what the rule is regarding this bet, im wondering what the story is with the half point, is this rounded up or do i have to hit exactly 16-12 for this bet to be a winner?

Unfortunately I think your bet's a loser. I would imagine that all possible scores were quoted in the correct score market before the tournament started.

sorry to say you roll the docket up in a ball and throw it in the bin.

Boyles would have offered the half point market
