Pc world prices and pixmania

    Just back from PC World.was looking at the Acer 7730 and the Hp G70 120em

    Acer 7730 is 599.99 in pc world,on Pixmania its (440 excluding shipping)
    HP G60 120ea is 699.99 in pc world, on pixmania its (549 excluding shipping)

    has anyone ordered laptops from pixmania..still dont know which to pick yet

    I have not got a laptop from pixamania but did get a TV/Digital camera and external HD off them. All perfect quality and great shipping. I saved just over 60 euro on the camera including delivery.

    Was speaking to someone just before Christmas who had ordered a camcorder from pixmania, the parcel arrived to her but had been opened and the camcorder stolen from it! It's being replaced but will take a few weeks to arrive.

    I've bought 2 laptops from Pixmania in the last two weeks, the first has arrived and I'm very happy with it.

    Both are Dells (much cheaper than dell or dixons/pc world). Though, interestingly, according to the older labels on the box DSG (Dixons group, which includes PC World) bought 100 of the laptops from Dell, and they somehow then got sold through pixmania.

    Got 2 bargains, the second more so. They're no longer listed on pixmania's site, but I got a Dell Inspiron 1525 with 3gb Ram for 500, then the following week a Dell Inspiron 1545 also 3gb for 409!!!

    Shipping in each case was 14.90 by DHL.

    DSG own pixmania so that's probably why it says DSG on the label.

    am devastated i missed out on that. its till on pixmania.co.uk but can't buy it on there. so annoyed with myself for not ordering sooner!
