Hairdye: Any recommendations?

This is pretty specific, so if you have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

I recently put a semi in my hair - Boots Botanicals in Dark Mulberry (an approximate name, not sure of the specifics). The colour was exactly what I was looking for - a dark, dark brown with a purple/burgundy tint.

Now I'm looking for a permanent dye in the same colour - a dark brown/burgundy with a blue/purple rather than red tint in it.

The colour has given my hair fantastic shine and makes my eyes pop so I'm really eager to find something asap. I'm reluctant to go for the semi again as it's about a fortnight since I put the first application on and with regular washes it has faded considerably, particularly where I formerly had highlights (as you would imagine).

I would consider getting it professionally dyed, but only as a last resort, as my budget is a little tight.

If you have any suggestions of brand and shade that might suit, I'd be very grateful. I spent an age in Boots and Tesco looking at dyes today, but no joy.

    Thanks in advance.
