Ive recently started haveing sex with a new partner but im finding it to be very painful at times.ive always been adenturous when it came to sex and never found any positions to be sore but with this new man i am.

im fully relaxed and fairly experienced haveing had a few partners before but i find i can only have missionary sex without it being exruciatingly painful.for example if i try with my knees over his shoulders or doggy style it almost has me in tears.

i would like to keep up a healthy sex life but think if it continues on like this both he and i will grow tired of it.

weve tried lots of foreplay and nothing has helped so far.

em tbh ive never acctually had a check up down there as i practise safe sex.probably should go but I cant afford to.

well he is rather well endowed.larger then any ive had before and im not sure about the bend...i dont pay that close attention.

well yes it is rough sex but most sex i have had is along the same as i get very energetic when worked up.

i cant see lube helping as it isnt friction thats a problem more when its in all the way its as though im being stabbed(i know that dosent really make much sense)

Since this is a new thing, you should go to your doc and have a checkup.

Is he very well endowed OP? If he is really big, you going on top and being able to control speed and depth of penetration should help. Also are you turned on enough, i.e. wet enough down there?

If he's not hung like a horse or overly eager with his thrusting then when was your last smear? You should probably go and check this out.

No matter how safe you've been a check up is important. I imagine most clinics are free (if in a hospital) or low cost (if a voluntary organisation).

    Certain positions will help this.

My doctors arranging one for me soon as im on the pill two years and says i should get one but he knows my sexual history and thinks that as i am young i need not get one untill im at least 20 as he did a check down there when he first put me on the pill.

well he is very large and even at the begining missionary sex was painful.its as though when my legs are over his shoulders that hes going deeper as weird as that sounds.
its as though hes like hitting a brick wall in a tunnel thats not made big enough or something.

thanks for the advice though everyone:)

If his penis is longer then your other lovers then yes he could be bumbing your cervix and a lot of women find that to be painful.

Yes different poistions can change the slope of the vagina and make it less likely for this to happen you need to experiment and figure out what works for you both, but I would still have that check up with your dr.

Oh it happens, some people even like it.
Do some reserach on what positions will work best there are plenty of books and websites.
This stuff is not new at all the karma sutra and it's knowledge have been around a very long time and there are a range of positions for just about every combination of size of genitals.

    Me for one tbh.

OP, if sexually active you need to have a smear test. Please note that you are entitled to one of these for free. Register yourself on www.cervicalcheck.ie, post your contact information and they will revert to you by letter within weeks confirming you can be seen by free at a clinic parktaking in the scheme. The list is comprehensive so it is more than likely that you can get this done locally. I'd urge you to get this done in any event.

im 8 years too young to be eligable for that scheme but thats anyhow:)

is there any other way of getting it done without the 55 euro doctors bill at the end of it?

I would suggest you find the 55 euros. You are 17, you have said you have had a number of partners and regardless of age, if sexually active you should be having a smear. 55 euro is not a ridiculous sum to lay your hands on and pain during sex (unless for reasons given above) should at any costs be explored further by a healthcare professional.

Please please you have the internet as a resource take the time to learn as much about your body, your fertility and the risks invovled in having sex even with a condom that you can.

It's your body, your health learn as much as you can, because you are worth it.

OP if your in college go to your doctor there and it will be cheaper.
I got my first one done through the college doctor for just 10euro.

Enjoy, but always be safe. :)
