Bearded Ladies

Has anyone witnessed a bearded lady in real life? I'm not talking a lady with a lot of white fluff around the oral area....I'm talking full-on, proper beard!!!

A few years ago I knew a ladyman who had really thick black hairs on her chinny chin chin. They weren't as obvious because they were (literally) shaved down a little but she did have stubble and potential beard growth that would put a lot of the Movember chaps I've seen to shame.

This is the kind of beard I would like to sponsor. Seeing a woman walk about town with a moustache or ronnie would make me feel like I'm truly getting my money's worth!

Any women interested please PM me and I guarantee I'll stump up some cash....for charity mate!

No, but I've seen a few pictures in my lecture material. I'm sure googling hirsutism or virilism should help you.

But no, I've never seen one in real life.

    Yeah but not in Ireland

I was in South Africa and the parking attendant was a lady from the democratic republic of the Congo. Had a genuine fully fledged male style beard.

I met a lady of the Maori persuasion when I was in NZ who had a nice little beard going on there. It was the grey hair against the dark skin that made it noticable.

I dunno if such a woman would like to be sponsored. I assume the hair growth comes from some sort of medical problem and that they're self-conscious about it.

But it's all for charity mate! Some of the Movember chaps look desperate in full bloom!

I saw a young woman a couple of months ago who had stubble under her chin. I was surprised to see a young woman with stubble as you'd normally expect to see that sort of thing on an ould wan.

Hirsutism (from Latin hirsutus = shaggy, hairy) is defined as excessive and increased hair growth in women in locations where the occurrence of terminal hair normally is minimal or absent. It refers to a male pattern of body hair (androgenic hair) and it is therefore primarily of cosmetic and psychological concern. Hirsutism is a symptom rather than a disease and may be a sign of a more serious medical indication, especially if it develops well after puberty.

Last time I looked, the Movember chaps grew their ronnies by choice. Dunno if someone who could potentially have the likes of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Cushing's disease or tumors in the ovaries or adrenal gland would find it funny.

My granny had a white whispy beard in her later years, God rest her.

Relax buddy! I too have a condition that causes some severe side-effects and was only posting the topic for a bit of comic value to try and get some funny reactions. When I suggested sponsoring folk I wasn't expecting anyone to respond. I thought that was obvious and apologise if it wasn't!

Only ever seen it on old women.
Stubbly or long wispy grey hairs on the chin.

I lived off Folsom Street in San Francisco and every year they would have the Folsom Street Fair. Quite a few bearded dykes would turn out for that. Some of them would actually put me to shame in the facial hair (and muscles area).

Just go to Mass on any Sunday in Ireland. There's ladybeards everywhere at Mass.
