Returning and xbox - warranty renewed with replacement?

    Hi all,
    I'm going to return my xbox to gamestop tomorrow, had the joy of e74 and the lower right quadrant going red, thankfully it's still under warranty by 4 months.
    When I get my new xbox, will it be under the original warranty which will expire in april, or does it start from the date it leaves the shop?

    Your warranty is for the original xbox and not the replacement.
