Does this photograph prove that ghosts really exist?

Ghost hunters from Cheshire Paranormal Society (CPS) took this photo during an investigation on the historic Packhorse Bridge in the village of Caergwrle, near Wrexham, the scene of a number of sightings. Does it show a ghost?

This ghostly figure is standing on the Packhorse Bridge, Caergwrle, near Wrexham, according to Cheshire Paranormal Society chairman John Millington. At the time members hadn’t realised what was apparently standing on the bridge in front of them, but some group members had reported feeling uneasy and other paranormal activity was also recorded, such as so-called orbs of light. Through further study and assistance from members of Hope and Caergwrle Heritage Society, it’s thought three ghosts haunt the bridge; a young girl and two women.

Members believe this photo shows the ghost of Squire Yonge who, the history books say, was well known in the area 300 years ago. The group also believe that the sighting of ghosts on the bridge could be to do with a former burial ground in the area and that the bridge was the access point.

i think its a lens flare but maybe the photo buffs can see was there anything added

Rain drop? possibly but very unlikely, it looks like the work of Jesus to me.

Maybe he's come back to wish everybody a happy new year!

PS i still believe in ghosts

i wouldnt say a raindrop is unlikely. jesus returning to wish everyone a happy new year probably is though.

There is not a photograph in the world anymore (not even a real one) where you cant say it wasnt possible to fake it in photoshop.

For this very reason, it is impossible to cite a photograph as proof of anything, unless you were there when it was taken

true. if though we had a decent enough quality version straight from the camera theres a chance you could take the exif data (though its been proved that this can be faked as well). Still though, its pretty easy to examine a decent res photo ad catch out a bad photoshopper.

Without sounding like a dry shoite, the pic looks fake too me. The ghostie image size is way out of proportion for the image. The ghost is completely blurred yet its surrounding scenery is in focus.
