Happy days. Now all I need is to stop eating those chocolates and go do some running.

I think it might have someone in Work mentioned getting a pair of runners on sale in there. Their massive shoe section is now a cycling shop though and they have hardly and running shoes compared to what they used to.

Hope they still do Kayano's for nearly half price. I've been holding off for this, will pop in on Friday and see what the story is. Need to go back to the Kayano's, I think my injury problems have been due to lack of cushioning. I've been told you should never go from a high cushoned shoe to something less so.

Really good sale as ever, the space for runners is in decline, don't think they ever did gait analysis here but some of the staff seemed to know a bit about footwear.

Thought the sale was disappointing only 30% of the Asics runners, last year it was nearly 50% and if you paid with your Arnotts card on the opening night you got an extra 10%. Don't think they had that this year.

Some Nike were reduced by 50% but it was a poor selection. The running gear had a very poor selection. They really have reduced the running area this year.

I will agree though there staff are pretty knowledgeable unlike Champion, Lifestyle etc.

Yes, the sale started last week, but walking past this evening it looks like there is plenty left. Yes, its 30% off the Asics stuff (and yes, the Arnotts cardholders got a further 10% off the day before the sale officially started). And the staff there are definitely a cut above the normal sports-fashion shops.

Wouldn't have known about the sale if not for this thread so thanks for the heads up!
Been meaning to pick up a pair for a while. I've been using GT2140s for the last while, but the Nimbus 10s seem to be a more comfortable fit

Iv been looking to get a few tight shorts(im a middle distance runner) And to my suprise i havent found any at all. Im a bit of a label freak so id be looking for adidas,nike,reebok,puma,asics fan esp adidas!! Anyone have any suggestions where the best place to buy running gear is in Dublin???

Saw some Nike super tight ones & a few Adidas but not a great selction. I did get a pair of baggier Nikes for €15 down from €38 in Lifetsyle sports.

Elverys are selling all t-shirts for a 10euro and that includes nike dri fit and adidas clima cool.25% of mens asics(how sexist):p
