flying to amsterdam

    hi guys.
    im bored silly at home and have decided to go to amsterdam for a day today or tomorro. problem is airlingus is charging 300 and ryanair dont fly to amsterdam.
    does any1 know of any other air lines or sites that would do it for 100 or less???

    thats still 280!!!! is there nothing cheaper??? also ill only be there for a few hours so do want to waste time getting trains!!

    Not wanting to state the obvious but you have left it very late. I was booking this week to go to the UK and the prices are crazy.

    The people that book flights at short notice pay for the costs of the discounted flights that people who booked 6 months ago paid next to nothing for. You won't find any flights cheap at a days notice as that is where the airlines make the money.

    what about 2 or 3 days notice??? im willing to pay 200 and maybe fly back the next day. i have been searching for over an hour now and cant find any flights for less that 280!!! awell, another time maybe

    Generally there is a high premium price to be paid for anything within 2 weeks of departure so anything over the next few days is going to be really expensive.

    Yeah wait a while.

    I've been to Amsterdam a good few times, once for a day only, something like arrive 6am, leave at like 10pm I think it was, about €90 flights.

    A day in Amsterdam is enough for me.

    flying to the dam on the 19th and return on the 20th
    the fare is €0 only have to pay taxes and charges!!!!!
