Problems when downloading - browser crashes.

    When I try to download and install programs (Firefox, AVG etc) the download will finish, but when I click "Run" to begin installing and my browser shuts down. The downloaded files don't appear to be saved anywhere.

    I first noticed a problem when I couldn't view video anymore on FF3, eventually I tried to uninstall and fresh install FF3, but the brower (IE7) shut down.

    I have Avira and ZoneAlarm installed, Avira is not coming up with anything.

    Any solutions would be appreciated.
