UPC billing problem

I recently downgraded from the 20 Mb to 10 Mb UPC broadband service while I was still within my 12 month contract. On my latest UPC bill there is a €100 cancellation charge, as well as the €10 downgrade fee which I was told about and don't have a problem with.

Can UPC charge me €100 as I wasn't informed at the time there would be a cancellation charge and I'm not actually cancelling the service?

No reason for a cancellation charge - contact them immediately.

Cheers dub45, you confirmed what I thought.

Is UPC accounts dept open tomorrow?
