What postcode should I enter in my address when buying from ebay.co.uk?
Any combinations I have tried have failed.

why don't you log in through ebay.ie and buy it that way...you could be waiting a few days for delivery this time of year...

I realise delivery will be slow but have some free time and want to order items for the new year.
I am currently logged into ebay.ie and still can not pay for an item as my postcode is incorrect.

Ah I see now. I haven't used ebay since the .ie site became available. Previously I had to use a fake postcode but it now works if I leave this blank.

The idiots at eBay and PayPal (well same people really) have always annoyed Irish customers by insiting on a postcode in all the webforms and addresses.000 000 seems to work for many people.

I always use EIRE as my postcode, works everytime.

No, as I was saying you now have to leave that area blank.

We used to be able to enter '000 000' or 'EIRE' or 'n/a' or pretty much anything but this time when I tried to change my address it refused to accept any of these. I even tried real postcodes from US and UK and still wouldn't work.

Then I tried IE and that worked.

    So there ya go! :)
