As per usual the numbnuts that run BBC NI decided to show the Yuletide special at a different time so I missed it and I'm willing to bet others did, so be alert to its repeat at midnight on December 31 i.e. as the bells sound, then another showing on BBC Two on Jan 2nd 10 pm.

You can bet your bippy that when the new series starts in earnest on BBC 1 NI it'll be fecked off to the nether reaches of the schedule so Nordies can delight in another helping of Days Like This/Town Challange/Blame Game or god knows what.

I agree it is crazy. There should be an option to receive the London region of BBC 1 and 2.

I watched it last night. Brilliant Show, Brilliant episode. Probably one of the best. Rob Brydon was on top form.

Just a tip, if you have sky digital you can tune in all the other BBC/ITV regions through the "other channels" menu. I used to switch over to it on a friday night for jonathan ross cos they'd always show some terrible comedy show before it on BBC1 NI meaning it started half an hour later

Rob Brydon was hysterical on it the other night. It was a pretty good show alright.

I am well aware of that feature. It has severe limitations such as not being able to record using sky plus.
