Anyone doing anything 'good' today? (XMas Day)

I'd have loved to go to the local homeless shelter to help out but didn't think of enquiring first (Don't want to just arrive up there), so i'm just doing the XMas Day swim and then gettin' locked. Not a fan of XMas Day but thought it'd be better to do *something* rather than just b1tching about the day on AH :pac:

Anyone doing something different from the usual eat/drink/sleep/argue?

BTW, managed to raise €555 for COPE Galway (They help the homeless) - I'm going to heaven lads woohoo! :p

I shall do my good deed for the year and not kill the family.

I'll see to it that the kids have a ball - for me it's about kids. Personally, it's just another day with the exception of excessive alcohol - but I can handle that once the wee folk are in bed.

I should really go to bed before Santa arrives........

I was going to fly to Congo to feed some starving children their Christmas dinner but I didn't ring ahead. Then I was going to swim the goal mile in the Bering Strait but I didn't ring ahead. But I raised x for charity so I am going to hell (for gloating) and later I'm going to discipline my partner. ;)

If you live in Dublin the SVP homeless shelter on Back Lane off Patrick St is doing Christmas lunch at 1pm and they might need help. I said that I might be able to help them but I can't cos of family commitments. Just ask for Sister Eileen and say you're filling in for Ian. They know who I am.
