hi guys, i was wondering does anyone know what the process is with regard to switching your handicap from one club to another? i played a load of golf as a junior and then between work and travel i havnt played at all the last 3 or so years. my student membership is up as of 31st of december and im thinkin about not joining my club as a full member, i think id like to move to a nicer course. if i do this does my handicap just automatically appear in my new club or do i have to submit cards to the new club so they can assess my handicap or what? any advice is appreciated. cheers.

Tell your old club you are switching club/leaving that one, ask them for a printout of you handicap and bring it to the new club...
