Going to a 'pot-luck' party tonight (you know everyone cooks something). Question now, what's the protocal for getting it there hot? Do you just keep it cold and chuck it in a microwave whern you get there or keep it simmering until the last minute? Bearing in mind it's a half-hour journey to the house...?

Serious suggestions welcome as wll as the yore ma funnier not so serious....

Can you bake? Everyone likes dessert and they can be cold

Already started on a curry. Would have been a good idea, too - knew I should have asked this yesterday!!

Yummy curry! Just bring it in the pot and when you get there, ask can you stick it on the hob on a low heat, or ring ahead.

    I'm getting hungry now.

Your best bet is to heat it up either on the hob when you get there or in the microwave. Otherwise, if you have a big enough thermos flask, you could use that?
