Can Debenhams gift vouchers be used in Topman?

    Hi all.

    I got a €50 gift card for a friend in Topman in Cork. I've just looked at the card, and its actually branded Debenhams, not Topman (the Topman shop in Cork is located within Debenhams). The problem is that the friend I'm getting the voucher for will be using the voucher in Topman in Galway, which is a stand alone store. Does anyone know if they will accept the Debenhams gift card?

    Edit: I'm going to try and call in the morning to find out if they'll accept it, but thought someone here might be able to help me so I can start planning on an alternate gift if they won't take it.

    I don't think so! unless the topman is on debenhams, does it say topman anywhere on the thing or is it just debenhams? If it's just the debenhams gift card, it really doubt it can be used. they should have given you a topman one though if that's what you asked for! :confused:

    Ah, so that's the reason why my aunt got me a Debenhams voucher when I asked for a Topshop one.

    No chance they'll accept in in the Galway store. I'd give them a call or go back in if I were you as it's not what you asked for.
