Wow that list is terrible, no Cecil Otter for a start...

Stuff to look out for in '09...

    El Che - Rhymefest.
'Til The Casket Drops - Clipse (!!!!!!).
Sir Luscious Left Foot - Big Boi.
    Megatron - Vandalyzm.
    Strange Journey - Cunninlynguists.
    Platinum Pied Piper's album.
    Exile album.
    Invincible & Finale collab album.
Anything to come out of Detriot.
Anything produced by Black Milk or Blue Sky, Black Death.

And thats the stuff that I'm fairly confident will actually be released.

Very nice list Sir, lots of the stuff i have been listening to this year and also a few i need to get. Haven't managed to get the Black Spade album yet (it seems to be hard to find...)

I would have included Absolute Value by Akrobatic on the list somewhere, an album i really enjoyed this year. And would have flipped positions with The Preface and the Renaisance but thats only minor. Motown 25 def my track of the year anyway

As for albums next year, can't wait for Big Boi's and i suppose Rhymefest will get another chance from me, was disappointed with the last effort.

The Akrobatik album slipped my mind really. There was some pretty good stuff that didn't make the cut in fairness.

The Black Spade album is on Amazon, and the magical pixies put it on my iPod via google just a week back.

What a disgustingly backpacker-esque list. Have you never heard of commercial Hip-Hop? Souljaboytellem #1!

You dont know how disappointed i am right now, luckily it's christmas and i'm full of turkey and quality street...otherwise i might start another hip hop (forum) beef :)

New P.O.S album next year also. Heard one track already and i was a little disappointed.

Would have been nice to see a local act in the list there somewhere. Messiah J and The Expert and The Infomatics both had whopper albums this year.

I didn't get a chance to listen too to much Irish Hip-Hop, besides the Cullo and Sleepy releases (the latter in particular being excellent). Hopefully Sleepy will drop an LP next year. Any Irish releases I should look out for in '09?

The Cecil Otter album I only managed to listen to once, and I was practically finished the list by then. Very well produced Hip-Hop with meh vocals was my impression.

Quote of the year IMO ;)

finally got Atmosphere dl and bit pissed off now that i hadn't got it earlier. Might have pushed Elzhi for my album of the year. Some great great tracks on it Dreamer, You and Wild Wild Horses the stand outs for me.

    .......your glasshouse top top tune

    6. Player's Ball
    7. Ain't No Thing
    8. Royal Flush
