This is a certain buy for me in the new year. The milsim rifle the PTW tried (but failed) to be, without the expense of gas blowback systems.

I'm interested....somehow weary of electric blowback after witnessing the rather unimpressive electric blowback mechs of the past...

If its just a case that it has low cap mags...well then ill save my money and buy locaps...

Interested to get some hands on in the new year

Those weren't blowback really, just moving bolts. The TM AK74MN is a blowback driven by mechanically (rather than pneumatically) leeching the pistons motive force. This is similar to the M4's system and is pretty impressive I have to say.

I'd consider a locking bolt model that took regular mags. 29 quid for a midcap is a spicy meataballa.

Mag cost put me off the TM ak74, having an 8 mag vest, 8 fancy expensive mags versus, say, two new guns just isnt worth it.
