    Anyone know what the usb connection on the front of my sky+ box is for?

    nothing.

    it was apparently put there for future services that never materialised - I believe some people use it to charge their iPods but that's about it.

    Bummer!!

    Only spotted it this week and got hopes up about extending the HDD or being able to play mivies that were on my USB key.:mad::mad::mad:
