Having developed a number of websites I am looking for a business partner who could help push these and maybe develop on the areas of the business where I am weak, eg developing contacts, sales & marketing, any ideas on how would be the best way to find someone like this? unfortunately I am not in a position to pay a salary so would be looking for someone to take a share in the business & future profits in return for their efforts..

Well anyone who has the contacts is probably doing it themselves OP. Your best bet is do a sales course or work out how to market yourself...

Network and put yourself out here. Go on twitter and make friends. Register your own domain name and get your site up. Blog and talk about interesting things. Collaborate with people and make good websites. Good luck!

The websites would want to be the bees knees to get someone to devote their time and efforts promoting same. Perhaps you could show the forum what websites you have developed and then we maybe in a position to see if there's a real business proposition in any of them.

I would love to have a look - do a bit (and want to do more) on the digital side - but not programming.

I will give you a very quick view - no no time waisting.

    Cheers

    Conor

Therein lies the problem. You think they are quite good but yet won't show or tell the forum what the websites are about. Funny to say the least.

My post of 23 Dec arrived on deaf ears as well.

Which leads me to this: If people post - looking for something advice or otherwise - and if you receive a reply - please have the decency to at least acknowledge it esp if it’s a PM.

You don’t have to do any more than extend a small bit of professional courtesy which seem to be lacking in some peoples lives.

(end of rant for ’09 - got it out of the way early)
