As a follow on from the Anglo Irish Bail Out thread, it appears that we now own shares in AIB, BOI and Anglo.

But we will probably have to double pay for this scheme as our bank charges will have to rise in order to pay the interest due on the loan/shares.

I feel quite rode, without the cuddle. :(

Does that mean they'll help 'take care' of this 80 million euro loan I need to hide from the taxman?

I actually own shares in both AIB & BOl - Hopefully the share price will stay going up :)

Does this mean that we don't need Balaclavas and sawn-off shotguns anymore?

Surely with 5.5 billion, they wouldn't notice if 10 million went into the cervical cancer jab scheme, or is that too obvious for those brain-dead inbreds up in the big city?

Cool. As a shareholder, my first proposal will be that all the old bank managers are put in the hippopotamus cage in Dublin Zoo. All people for the motion please raise hands.

No no no, you have to reward these greedy people with a huge bail out, charged to the taxpayer of course, and then give them a really nice retirement package, so they never have to worry about money again.

They should be hung, drawn and quatered. They make me sick.

Yes. You can give them back to their original owners.
    They reside in the Dail.

I must presume that it is possible for the share prices for each of these banks could fall further, thereby seeing the €5.5bn or €7.5bn (depending on what paper you read) shrink.

What happens if this scheme fails like? The national pension scheme will just cry a bit, and then get on with things will it?

Suffice to say both ireland and England are very much on their arses - Yes that's a technical term. People need to realise that! Start saving folks!
