Your probably gonna laugh, though I am pulling out some great sounds with Guitar Rig 3 at the minute.

Not at all :) the amplitude 2 guitar plug in has some delightful textures and sounds, like the delay and tremolo are very good, lot's of color.

+1 for the Vintage Warmer. It makes everything sound great.

Also.. I've been re-aquainting myself with Izotope Ozone 3 over the weekend (no Waves for me.. ).

I've been away from things for a few months & I had forgot how good it can sound with a bit of tweaking.. The presets are v.weak starting point IMO, but you can get decent results if you take your time.

Paul, that drum tip - fcuking spot on - nice one !

ALL the sonalksis plugins, particularly the EQ and Compressor.

Some people don't like the new mastering limiter but I've been getting great (ab)use out of it lately.

Massey's tape head is nice for certain stuff.
Been in awe of the Acousticas EMT IR's (used in space designer).

The Logic Compressor (the reason side-chaining became massive in all dance music).

Here's an odd one - the single band eq's in Logic. Handy, simple and to the point.

If we're talking plugins and not just effect plugins, I'm gonna shtick a mention of the Arturia Moog Modular V in there. I love that thing more than is probably healthy.

Oh and Logic's Tape Delay - Dubtastic.

Installed the LMC, but Logic doesn't seem to want to recognise it.
Odd. Everything else gets picked up, including the SSL Halloween plug.

I was going to but I read that using that one automatically installs the "Go to jail for a year minimum" Expansion Pack.

Thought I'd give it a miss.
