Innocent until proven guilty and all, but you could see this coming from the get go!

I can't even begin to imagine how their teenage daughter must be feeling. First her mother is beaten to death with a brick, and now she has to come to terms with the fact she may also lose her father, and the fact that he may have killed her!!

oh i though they were looking for a hooded unknown man in his 20's who he tried to "bravely" fend off - as if an unknown thief, armed with a brick , is going to batter an unknown person/mother to death - pathetic waste of a life , Gardai's time -

The only good thing in it is that the Gardai should have enough evidence to avoid another 10 year drawn out legal battle.

What a shame. My heart goes out to the daughter.

No suprise as discussed on the News/Media forum.

No doubt loads of dark stories about money and or lust will come out now. I'll bet thier work collegues knew for certain from the moment it was known.

I think everybody saw this one coming. Seems like the husband was a Richard Kimble fan. Poor daughter.
