We've been thinking about setting up another pbem game, but rather than go down the civ route (though I'm not against it) the idea of playing an alternative for a change would be nice.

So has anyone got any suggestions for a game which 4-6 players can play via attachments? Or alternatively any good browser based games we can host, we've had a few phpDiplomacy games was a laugh.

Would like a PBEM but I've been afraid to buy any new games for ages - I couldn't afford the lost weekends. Can't think of anything other than Civ either......and I don't even own beyond the sword....

CM Pbem looks interesting alright. You wouldn't happen to have links to it, most of what I would where dead.

I'm going to install one or two locally here first and then throw them out.

Combat Mission is 2 player only, I have two copies of the first two games, as I picked up a box set dirt cheap, just to get the third one. Brilliant PBEM games though. There should be demo's available from www.battlefront.com. I think they might even have PBEM enabled on them.

    Yup, http://www.battlefront.com/products/cmak/cmak_demo.html

Well it looks like its going to be risk.
If you're interested in joining stick a post down, though I'm not ruling out a another civ game anyway.

The dictator stands ready for any pbem games, civ or otherwise. I never played CM, I must get the demo.
