More bus issues - City Direct Galway

So heres what I've just written to City Direct in Galway after an uncomfortable hour standing out in the cold.
    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a regular user of City Direct buses - two of your routes go outside my house so I am well served. However, todays experience has made me less likely to use your service again. I can use either route 34 or 37 to get into town, so I went out to the roadside at 14:20 to catch the 14:25 #34. Given that it is nearly Christmas and that traffic will be heavy, I expected the bus to be a few minutes late. However, once 15:00 had come, as well as being cold, I realised that perhaps the bus was not going to show, so I kept an eye out for the #37, coming from the opposite direction at 15:00. Come 15:15, there was still no sign of this bus either. However, previous to that at 15:05, a #33 had come up the road with a NOT IN SERVICE sign, and a driver making signs that another bus was following. I waited until 15:20 – ample time for the replacement bus to follow, but to no avail. At this point I was absolutely freezing, as there is no bus shelter, so I came indoors to write this letter. Keeping an eye out of the window, I have noticed neither of the missing buses, nor the 15:25 #34. So three buses have gone missing this afternoon, on the busiest shopping day of the year when I thought EXTRA buses would be a good idea.

I realise that buses can get caught in traffic and that Galway isn’t the most congestion free city in the world. However, three buses going missing in one afternoon is unacceptable. I am wondering if there is a specific reason behind the problems I experienced this afternoon, and whether anything can be done to prevent this from happening again. You lost money because of it – at my stop alone there were six people who gave up waiting, of course I don’t know what happened at the other stops – probably something similar.

Please let me know what happened.

    Many thanks,
