alot of big races happening today so im surprised this hasnt been mentioned

just thought to get the ball rolling.. :)

    Ascot 13:05
Bgc Silver Cup Handicap Chase (listed)

hard to back against the duo of nicky henderson/mccoy at the moment.. and henderson seems to be very keen on this race aswell throwing in 2 runners both the top 2 favourites, ill side with the McCoy however on Oedipe (FR)

    Ascot 13:40
    Boylesports.com International Hurdle (grade 2)

Binocular.. i will not look at katchit, i can see binocular running away with this and i was happy handing in the €100 in boyles.. it was the only race i seriously bet on

    Ascot 14:10
Bgc Long Walk Hurdle (grade 1)

Mobaasher (USA), its even a good e/w bet with the current odds and has serious claims to take this, can see Ruby picking this one up for the nicholls yard

    Ascot 14:45
    Ladbroke (listed Handicap Hurdle)

grab a dart and throw it at the the 2:45 page, chances are you will have as much luck picking the winner, 21 horse race, top performers.. lets face it could go either way

not really looked at the other races but feel free to add comments :-)

Not sure yet but will stick a small e/w fourtimer on Tony McCoys rides, I knows its asking a lot to make it 3 saturdays in a row but if any man can make it happen - he can.

There is a horse in the 13.05 who will either finish tailed off or will give you an outstanding run for your money. That horse is Dom Dorgeval

This horse was a very high class hurdler, rated 156 at his best. Made a promising start to his novice campaign in the 06/07 season but went off the boil totally after a defeat in Denman's RSA chase. Struggled badly last season and again last time out behind Joe Lively at Cheltenham in November but Pipe's horses were woefully out of form. Has been dropped another 5lbs to a mark of 137 today and I'm prepared to take a massive gamble and have a small each way bet at 33/1 with Ladbrokes. Has been nibbled at elsewhere. Not much liquidity in the Betfair market but is currently 32 to back 38 to lay

Good luck all, I'll probably look vey silly come 13.15 :D

An e/w Lucky 15 would be the trick fella.

The former unfortunately. Backed 33s into 16s but never looked happy

Has run out of chances and excuses

That was pretty awesome. Katchit future is hard to figure, I think Binoculars is rather more straightfoward :).

I had a shocker by the end of the afternoon - that McCoy horse in the 3.15 shoot-out flopped badly and blew three bets!

Got it back and more in the evening footie but thats another thread!

Happy out made about €400 for the day between the above bets and football bets (incidently proabably my biggest winnings in one day ever lol).

Punchestowns looked as comfortable as any horse I've seen crossing the line at Ascot, never really bothered by any competitors. Looks a great shout for the World Hurdle at 12/5.
