Turn on wifi, tap your network (something like "eircomABCD WXYZ" unless you renamed it) and enter your key. If you don't know your key, use another computer, open up http://192.168.1.254 and look it up under Wireless from the link at the side (while you're there, make sure encryption is WPA and *not* WEP).

or, flip over the wireless router, the key is ususlly printed on the bottom if its an eircom router.

Is it getting an IP off the router? Renew the DHCP lease under wifi (tap the arrow to the right, scroll down, renew lease).

It is getting an IP address, and I've tried that there to no avail.

Might be worth rebooting your router and the iPod itself as well.

Try getting you Ipod to forget the network and start from scratch again.
