I've booked flights for a small group of us traveling to Scotland next year. We booked online check in with hand luggage tickets. But now we decided we will prob end up going shopping and so need to add a bag for the return leg. Any ideas how this can be done as cheap as possible and without fleecing me! Can I just pay the extra at the airport- I'm estimating it costs around 15 euro (for both airport check in and bag?) Advice or experience extremely welcome!

For a return trip you'd be forced to check in each way if you do it before you go, cost is €30. Might be better to show up at the airport for the return flight and just pay to check in there... Don't know how much that would be.

Can you actually show up at the airport with a bag to check on if you hadn't it booked on?

It would seem that if you don't check in online you can just pay and check in. If you have checked in online, then show up with a case, then they hit you with extra charges... €20 for the bag, €10 to check in.

Which, oddly enough adds up to the €30 I mentioned in my earlier post...
