    Hey guys.

I just bought myself a Fender Telecaster and I'm looking for a nice practice amp to suit me.

Something with a nice tone and doesn't sound too dark and heavy with overdrive.

The kind of music I like to play is mostly indie like the Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Maximo Park, Wombats, Editors, so these are roughly the kind ofsounds I'm looking to emulate for my original stuff.

These are two I've been told about so far:

    Any comments or alternative suggestions?

    Cheers!:D

Get the Orange. Arcitc Monkey use Orange amps as far as I can remember. Also I think Editors (or maybe its Director) use Orange amps as well. Anyway you'll get that nice indie rock sound from an Orange amp and the tele is a nice choice to go with it

Bot are more expensive, but you would be a million times happier with both of those amps.
    Tube FTW.

That AD5 would probably be louder than the CR30, so it goes with out saying, that tiny terror combo has more volume than you will ever need wth a practice amp.
The beauty of it is, you wont need to buy another amp for jamming/giging if you get a tube amp.

    probably...

Regardless of whether you buy my crush the crush sounds like what you're looking for. But if you can afford the tiny terror combo I'd deffinitely go for that. Will be a LOT louder

I just bought a peavey xxx head the other day, way to loud to play in the house... 120watt tube amp like.
So i've been thinking about that tiny terror combo myself.

    They sound bloody amazing too.
To youtube you go and you can hear pretty much any amp you want.

Wow, sounds like the Orange is the way to go so!
Would the Tiny Terror really be big enough to gig with?
No point in spending that kind of money on a practice amp, y'know?

I'd go for fender blues junior sweet amp

Well when you're gigging, your amp will be milked anyway.
But still, go to any music store, and see the difference in volume between a 15W solid state and a 5-10W tube amp.
    Seriously crazy.
