    I just switched to IE 8 to try it out. Im happy enough with it so far. It seems nice and fast and the in-privacy mode is a nice feature.

    Have found that when i click on the "settings" link at the top right it just hangs and hangs. Works fine in other browsers (FF and Chrome)

    Anyone else having this problem?

    (Running xp pro, sp3, Turion Dual Core 1GB RAM)

    IE8 is still in beta so i presume its a bug they haven’t ironed out yet

    aye - bit strange though. And annoying because I regularly go into settings and get gmail to check for external mail via pop3
