I'm getting an increase of calls for help!

I hope the mods will allow me to post this here as a timely seasonal warning (as this section is read by a lot of folk who don't go to the pc section).

As the weather takes a turn for the worse, can I recommend to laptop/pc users out there, get a power socket surge protector.

Between now and mid January, more than likely due to bad weather conditions and/or possible powercuts, surges or spikes in electricity will increase.
This happens every year around this time.
I have already noticed an increase of calls I am getting from business acquaintances/friends who's systems are being effected recently.

For the sake of 20 quid, pop to Dixons or an electric shop and get one.
It will save you hundreds some day if not more.
Surges/spikes kill your power units/RAM/CPU/Motherboard, etc.
Save yourself that bill!

I cant wait for powersurges. I have my oven on the lowest setting to save power. Its constantly on, so a few surges will help cook the turkey!
