Economic Downturn - Central Hotel, Dgl Town

    Overheard somebody saying that due to the downturn, the Central was completely shut for a few days during December. No rooms booked and bars closed.

    Any truth? Surely it cant be that bad?:eek:

    Thats true. Closed for 4 days, due to week exchange rate of sterling v euro. A lot of N Ireland tourists are staying at home.

    heard it was closing until march v unusual for the central harveys have been on short time since sept going on a 3 day week myself from jan (not in hotels or retail but IT)
