Not sure but it Seems a little too good to be true really.
If you're buying to software to use professionally I think its best to buy straight off a dealer if anything goes wrong or whatever,..

    I wouldnt buy from it.

Photoshop CS4 for 99? Has to be pirated.

    Yeah seems too good..

I was looking to buy this http://www.buycheapsoft.net/software/pc/other/native_instruments_massive_vsti_dxi_rtas_1.0.html

Its only 25euro there so am going 2 risk it.. only thing im worried about is if they can over charge credit card or fraud.. would this be a possiblity??

    Read this first:

    http://spamtrackers.eu/wiki/index.php?title=Soft_Sales

Soft Sales or OEM SoftSales or Cheap Software Solutions is a software piracy operation.

The site pretends to use a secure server so that clients can fell safe supplying their identity and credit card details. These criminals are hoping that nobody will notice that is is not secure at all.

looks a bit dodgy tbh... the checkout page dosn't seem secure so I'd be hesitant in putting any details on it.

ah phutyle got there before me...
but yeah, general rule is if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.
also never put card details on a page thats not encrypted (encrypted ones start with https)
hope you havn't "bought" anything there yet...

Don't be surprised when something else is charged to your credit card. You are downloading pirate stuff, so after an update or two, your serial will become invalid, and there'll be nothing you can do when that happens.

If they arent worried about selling pirated software, do you think they'll care about you credit card. You'll be entering all data needed to make an online purchase with them.

Shopping cart is an http: link as already mentioned, not https: and no kind of certificate on the page (padlock icon in Safari would indicate the existence of one and in many cases, like with online banking, shows who has signed the certificate - no such thing in this case...). I wouldn't trust any such site with credit card/personal details, you might as well be sending them out in a plain text email to random people...

I did a little research and found out that the 'company' behind it "Soft Sales" is known for software piracy, and they redirect you to a non-secure server when purchasing.

You might aswell use the bay than pay for these versions.

and now the website that is suspected of offering pirated software is down......

I think we all know the answer here. Credit cards and apparently dodgy websites do not mix.
