Maybe google is giving the results cronalogically.??

If you google 'MVision HD200 C' you'll get more results.

And make sure you read up on the right version - the C stands for Combination as it includes the MPEG 4 Terrestrial reciever. The cheaper version (no 'C') is satellite only.

Given that this is a good bit more expensive than the Globalteq what extra does it offer? The PVR functionality or will this come to the Globalteq in the future?

FYI, Globalteq , Metabox and Darkbox are all clones.
I've seen reports that loading Metabox or Darkbox firmware will give Globalteq PVR functionality.

BTW, Globalteq owners, do not rush into this. Do your homework and if the risk is acceptable to you then play with it coz you will have no one else to blame if things go wrong.

I've the Darkbox software on Globalteq with no issues. In fact it is a cleaner interface. Havent tried any PVR/USB functionality yet.

Very good value box considering it is a combo and HD. I have ITV HD working perfectly on it also. Seamless EPG with DTT and FTA DVB-S.

I was looking at Mvision 200HD Combo in a Dublin shop, it was priced at €320 (could be €299 now). I then came accross the Globalteq HD Combo online at Stg£119 which worked out at about €150 delivered.

You can guess which one I went for, delivered in 3 days and I haven't looked back.

very interested in getting the Mvision HD Combo. Does it support teletext/interactive services on DTT and SAT?

Does this work as a PVR with an external USB drive? I read a review that says it doesn't but read elsewhere that it does?
