Hi, thinking of getting a Pioneer DCS-370 Home Cinema -> http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=342507&view=detailed#ProductTabs . My current setup is a modified xbox for divx etc and a standard Sky box (will upgrade to Sky HD at some stage) and a panasonic 42PV70EY .

As there is only the one scart input on the DCS-370 just wondering how I'll go about connecting both sources.

I was thinking of just connecting from xbox to sky box via scart, sky box to DCS-370 via scart and DCS-370 to 42PV70EY via HDMI. Would it have any possible degradation of the signal or should that be alright?

    cheers

anyone? picked up the Pioneer yesterday, bought it off adverts.ie . Didn't realise there was no HDMI cable with it so wasn't able to check if what I wrote above would work. Only cable supplied was a video cable which when connected from the Pioneer to the TV gave a really bad signal when I selected Component Source on the tv, fuzzy and black and white.

Tried connecting the xbox directly to the scart input on the HT, and then to use the video cable to transmit video to the tv, not even sure if that would work so not sure if a HDMI cable would do any better.

Sorry new to all things HT so any advice at all would be really appreciated.

    Cheers
