I wasn't planning on getting a Christmas gun, but a recent bit of work has changed my mind,

At present I have an CA m4 CQB SEAL, it's a bit of an inbetweener, it's not light enough to be a back up weapon nor quite small enough

So I was thinking of getting either a backup weapon, ie. P90 or MP5PDW

Or an accurate gun, not sure AEG or sniper rifle, I used a WELL L96 recently and although I did like it because of the single shot most people were not taking their hits
So the other choice would just be a accurate AEG, I was thinking a JG Steyr A3 or perhaps a JG HK416

Any suggestions or comments would be more than welcome.

I don't have any specific price range, but not too expensive.

Jesus man get a P90! The 300 bb mags are great. Me mate has a jap one and the 300 bb mags are great, no winding. Theres the china ones of it out now too, they'd be cheaper, seen it here before somewhere

Got an Echo P90 to play with the other weekend having owned a TM.
Stick a 9.6 in it and you are sorted.
Job done.

Was thinking of that but I am just looking for other peoples suggestions or other options, what about the JG AUG A3, I've heard it's excellent. And seems to be top notch out of the box

Matter of opinion, some people think the P90 is a keyring.

yeah in fairness, both the P90 and the AUG are fugly, but both are brilliant guns. i would go for the P90 over the AUG based on the fact that its so much smaller and handier to use, the A3 is a pretty heavy piece.,

oh, and disregard the above comment dissing the XM8, thats a piece of magical ingenious!

Theres the SRC, i dunno of anywhere selling it though, i got the AGM one a few months ago, was pretty decent and really quiet but as far as i can remember it had a funny hopup so needed modding if you wanted to change the rubber.,

you could go all out and get a minigun
but if you want an accurate aeg that is a sniper a sl9 would be good
dont know who makes them ma and another company i think but they are sweet looking and pretty rare to come by ive never seen one being used

I half a agree with Vtec. Yes, the P90 and Aug perform very well. But no, they are not fugly, your bloody armalites a fugly, no curves.

Yeah, the A3 is nice, but has a shorter barrel and weighs a fecking ton. If you want a long ranger I'd consider getting an A2(Or A1, but a big ass scope would be nice) and adding a phantom kit. See image below. You could then get a really long PSG inner barrel and an upgraded hop unit. And some ghille....

What I'm saying is, how much are you willing to fork out? The A2 can be got for 170 or less, a chinese phantom wont arrive in time but will only cost like 60 smackers, scope, its up to you, inner barrel will be close on 50 for a long enough tight bore. Hop would be like 15-25.

Also, point to note, the Aug has no selector, imply pull further for Full Auto. Handy if you were to be found, you could instantly let loose with a very nice ROF.



Anyways, its worth considering.

Any if I was you I'd grab myself a nice little BAR/VSR -10 or a couger very nice pistol and there is the option of gettin yourself a g36 and turning it into a f*ck off g36

P.S A mix between the vsr and bar is prefered

Yeh you are totally right we all should abandon our personal likes and dislikes. A uniform opinion is the way forward. Armalites are cool coz everyone has one.

In fact now that I think about it chavs/scumbags have got it right from the beginning. From now on I vow to only wear tracksuits combined with peaked caps(Worn at the standardised angle of 45 degrees in relation to the top of mah head).

OP original post was jg hk416 or jg aug a3, both quality pieces.

And i think the custom jobby on the A3 me and dex/did is about the only aug i like.

Basically standard body with tasco scope, quicksilver silencer and foregrip...looked the dogs.

And wearing hats at 45* isnt nackerish, its aerodynamic...jeez

And as also stated, yes in The Running Man, the guards at the start in the prison, use augs, yet arnie somewhow kills them all with an armalite, which leads me to believe, he looked on the ground, laughed, made an armalite from scratch and destroyed them

Yeah i agree, armalites are fugly, even though i have a few of them,.
however i maintain the AUG and P90 are horrid star wars looking things, and coincidentally i have both of them too.,

Well I do agree that CA's are not worth it, but I love mine, I just do, and now with you bit of TLC richie it is orgasmic to fire. Makes a nice noise now too with my Gemtech Halo silencer

If you are at Dark Mist II then you have to just fire a high cap out of it, you can fell yourself jump in the pants

I also have a feeling that the rate of fire went up by a pellet or two a second and you can't beat 23/24 pellets a second.
