Anyone managed to connect their sky+ box to their dvd recorder?I want to copy content from the sky box to the dvdr. I've tried all the instructions in the book but to no avail.
Anyone managed it or have any tips?
What should happen when you press "copy"?
When I press "copy" nothing seems to happen and the dvdr channel where I should be able to see what's playng on the sky box is just black. My recordings from it are also just a black screen.

You use a SCART lead from the SKY+ box (use the VTR SCART socket normally, or the TV SCART socket if your DVD recorder can support RGB input). Set your DVD recorder to use the SCART input socket (on my Sony this is called L3).

When you select the COPY function (red button) on the SKY+ planner, the programme entry is marked "COPY". You can mark several programmes with the red button if you wish. When you press select afterwards the SKY+ box will ask you to press record on your DVD (or video) recorder and will then play all the programmes you marked.

Thank you for the reply. My problem is that even when SCART input is selected the screen is just black and blank.Should I see a Sky screen or TV channels on this screen?
