I'm looking to get into some Martial art, southside of dublin preferably. Not sure what though, but would like to have some sort of full contact sparing. Complete novice, so go easy!
    Any ideas?

I'd advise going with sport-orientated martial arts, both for fitness and actual self defence applicability.

Mixed Martial Arts, there's SBG Ireland off the long mile road, Next Generation in Loughlinstown, and Spartan MMA (me) in Tallaght.

Judo clubs offer competition without striking (although in the three MMA clubs listed above you can train just submission wrestling/BJJ).

Muay Thai offers full contact striking if that's your bag. Chupasart are located in SBG Ireland, there's a warriors gym in Loughlinstown as well I believe.

If you're looking for full contact sparring, you won't get it in Krav Maga. I suggest the links provided by Colm above.

I was about to say the same thing. Also boxing and kickboxing sound like your bag. Make sure it is full contact kickboxing though.

Alot of krav maga clubs do teach full contact sparring, try and find one that does.

Check out the krav maga on the human weapon and fight quest - from memory i think they showed some krav sparring.
