Cork geetarist here, what do you mean by new wave/dark/experimental? Sounds similar to a lot of what I listen to. Can you give some bands in specific? I'd listen to thinngs like Bauhaus(they were originally called new wave before the "post punk" or goth rock labels existed), Depeche Mode(on occasion), Switchblade Symphony, Collide, and I'm interested in hearing more darkwave bands. With that kind of music, I also like to mix in some alt rock like the Pumpkins(I Have a BIG MUFF pedal).

I'd like to do mainly guitars, maybe a bit of keys and some vox(maybe just backing as I'm probably not good enough rgiht now to sing melodies along with your current proper singer , I'd love to write some songs though). I haven't played keys in a while, but I could easily come up with some simple melodies. I plan to learn keys proper soon enough.

I'd rather have a second guitarist to Jam with though, or a bassist that's really jammable, I'm not sure how I'd fare being the only guitaring force in the band.
