    Hi all,
I have thick hair that is naturally straight-ish, but really frizzy and it can get really bad kinks too!
What's the best straightening cream/serum/etc out there?
    Thanks!

I'd say I have similar hair to you. Think straight-ish hair but frizzy underneath. Hair dressers always comment about how much hair I have!
I use L'Oréal Studio Line Hot Straight. The bottle looks like this:l-oreal-studio-line-hot-straight.jpg

I find that if I use this product, blow dry my hair and I use my Remington heated straightener, I get a longer time between needing to redo it. I just need to run the straightener through my hair again.

Get a decent hairdryer too! Peter Mark's Turbo Stratus FTW!! Now I only use my straighteners about once a month :)

I hate this. It's sort of like, oh really? I hadn't noticed my own head!

Hmm, I use Lee Stafford's PINK range, in particular his treatment stuff. It's amazing. Makes your hair much softer and sleeker.

I wouldn't reccomend the GHD products, they've always made my hair sort of hard, oily looking, and stiff :( I DO reccoment actual GHD's though. They're amazing, and if you use them over a long period of time they definitely make your hair striaghter before straightening, if that makes sense.

Remington hairdriers are pretty good at straightening hair too, I've found!

I second this product. I have really really ridiculously thick hair and I find that it really helps straighten your hair. I use serum and hair spray after straightening to hold the hair in place.

I have very frizzy thick curly hair! Its a night mare! So far the best products Ive found is the loreal VO5 serum which is about a tenner and comes in an orange bottle...have to use a good bit of it before drying but hair tends to stay straighter longer when i use it. John Freida serum also goes without saying but is pretty expensive...

I can never blow dry my hair striaght, usuallyy just brush it out while drying then attack it with the ghd! I also use charles worthington shine spray which is like an oil based spray that helps tame it a bit!
Anyone have any tips for getting hair just to stay straight??I rarely get to leave my hair down for the whole night on a night out as it just frizzes up and goes uber-volumised with kinks! not a good look!
