    Just got the JG G36C, am wondering about charging, have heard the horror stories on overcharging etc. How long does the supplied battery need charging for, using supplied charger?
    Is the connector used standard, could I get a better charger locally or would I have to get one from an airsoft supply store?

    It's a simple bit of division.
    Take a look at your battery pack and find the capacity.
    Now take a look at your charger and find the output current.
    Divide the charger current into the pack capacity for your charge time.

    For example;
    Battery pack capacity - 2000mA
    Charger output current - 500mA
    2000/500 = 4
    Result - Charge time of 4 hours.

    Remember that the result will be in decimal form so if you get 2.3 as a result, it's not 2 hours 30 minutes, it's 2 hours 20 minutes (.3 roughly being 1/3, 1/3 of an hour being 20 minutes).

    I recently got an M15 & an 8,4V battery and just wanted to know if the battery drains at a constant rate.I spent an hour 20.00-21.00 shooting it.(after a full charge) took the battery out put it away started again @ 13.00 the next day after 15mins or so it went dead.Any ideas?

    Not necessarily, it depends on several factors. The way in which you were shooting being the main one. Depending on the capacity of the battery, an hour of full auto shooting might well be right. In a skirmish situation you'll never really be firing constantly for an hour. It also depends on the charge state of the battery before you started using it, was the charger you used an auto cut-off or did you calculate the times yourself to determine it was a full charge?

    hmmm calculating it should take under 3 hours but i was told leave it on for 4 by the man in the shop.solid charge light came on after 3.5 hours turned it off at 4 hours exactly.I began a discharge on the battery 2 hours or so ago still going but after that i'll charge it up again.Thanks for the help :D

    Have you checked the fuse? It's the most common reason for a zero-response trigger. If it sounds like it's attempting to spin the motor up but can't (you'll hear a faint "clacking" noise from the gear box upon pulling the trigger if this is the case) then it's your anti-reversal latch.

    yes they are the symptons!! thanks soooooo much how do i check the fuse?? i am new to airsoft aegs. thanks fot the help. where is da fuse?

    o i know where the fuse is dats fine. i ment wers da anti-reversal latch??

    The anti reversal latch is inside the gearbox. If you're new to AEG's it might be better to take it into a retailer to have it looked at. It's not a difficult job, but it's tricky if you've never done or seen it before.
