Names to Faces

i know a lot of people here know eachother but it might be helpfull to new players if they know the face of some of the people they have seen around here also it would help with selling your stuff because you will be able to spot the person your selling it to at a site or in town or wherever you happen to be selling it on
so if people post a picture people might recognise the people they have been talking to or whatnot

This was tried before but it died rather swiftly. While some people don't have an issue with images of them being posted on public fora, others do. Most people know each other from skirmishing together, and if they don't they usually have someone in common they know. 99% of skirmishers are friendly enough to point you in the direction of the person you're looking for, if not introduce you to each other. A lot, including myself, even wear nametapes with our boards.ie names on them to make it easier for new lads to figure out who's who (as if ACU doesn't make it easy to spot me as it is).
If you want a picture of a person for a sale so you know who you're going to, best to ask in PM. That or wear a red carnation...

I've already got my handsome mug in the latest AIM. That's good enough for the time being. The best way to get to know people is to meet them on the field. Just make an effort to learn at least one regular skirmisher's boards handle per day out at a site and you'll start to figure out who's who pretty quickly, or at least who's who on the sites you visit. I still wouldn't know any of the Cork or Westcoast lads from Adam, but that's coz I've not made the effort to visit yet, soon to be remedied I think.
