Hair Curlers

Hey,

i need to buy my girlfriend some curling thongs thing for her hair for xmas.

Is there any specific brand or type that I should be getting?

She will only use it every now and again.

Please help

if you go into one of the bigger boots chemists they normally have a range and the price is normally indicitive to the quality! also there are many different size barrells and what not, ask her what type of curls she is trying to achieve with the curler, and then just ask a sales assistant

Nicky Clarke and Mark Hill are excellent manufacturers of electronic products. I would go for one with a ceramic tong barrell personally.

These or Remington, they're pretty good too.

Generally the shorter her hair, the smaller the barrel you should get really. If her hair is really long, it all depends on the type of curls she wants...

Personally I find these fantastic. You can alternate the heat settings and they don't scorch my hair like some other ones do. I have tried most of the others at this stage! Slim barrel so they are great for short and long hair. Good luck!

dont use them often either but when i do i stick to the smaller tongs..

i have a curling tongs from boots(own brand)...that is absolutely brilliant!its pretty cheap..and is amazing value...is ceramic and heats up super quick...really easy to use..ive recommended it loads to people with different lenghts and styles and they were all happy!

i know that there not curling tongs bit i got these heated rollers at the weekend

i got them in boots for 30e. they have 3 differnt size rollers (20 in total) and they give a lovely tumbling soft curl (depending on whether your hair is damp or dry, and the amount of time you leave them, you can get differnt types of curl)

they are handy as you can just put them in and leave them and get on with whatever u were doing, where as with a curling tong, u cant.
