    Grr. Looking to get thoughts/comments.

Been losing fat gradually for a while now. However, I have seen photos of myself over the past few months and I kinda wince when I see them. No trace of a belly, but hey guess what, most photos of you are focussed on your face - and this is where I seem to be finding it hard to lose fat. So, I pretty much have a flat belly but I still look chubbyish in photos. I have a roundish face and def prone to looking chubby in face if I put on fat but I would have hoped to look a little leaner in the face with all the training/watching what I eat as I lose the gut.

You can't spot reduce but what are your experiences/comments as regards where fat comes off when you are working hard? It just seems like a kick in the nuts to still look kinda chubby while at the same time being able to wear a fairly tight-fitting t-shirt and not having any sign of a belly!

From my experience, depending on how much weight you have to lose, the place you notice it least is in the face and neck. Over the past 7 months i have lost 36lbs, 5in of the waist, 3.5 off the chest, 3.5 off the hips, a certain amount off the upper legs but only .75 inches from the neck.

I know some people have different face-shapes but more often than not i think your 'face-fat' varies only slightly in relation to the rest of your body ( with the exception being the chin/s).

Yeah, interesting. I guess when you think about it there is only so much weight you can lose from your face, as opposed to your belly and other areas....hmm

You probably see your face more than any other bit of your body, so small changes can go un-noticed, like a kid growing up in your house, yet you can see a mates kid after 6months and they appear to have doubled in height!

Compare it to an older photo, or your passport etc.
