I have a laptop with a wireless adapter and was wondering would anyone know if thereis a broadband service provided by a company that supplys a router were you do not need a landline for a phone. As I said I have a wireless adalter that plugs into the pci slot and cost 90 euro. Its a linksky adapter so all I would need is a router box to purchase if this can be done.

If you have NTL cable in the house you could go with them.

Good service/speed at a decent price.

NTL are excellent as long as you don't need support. If anything goes wrong you're really no your own.

(I've had them since they came here and never needed support - thats just from other people I've heard from)

There's not much that will go wrong with their broadband service. (TV is a different story)

You'll spend a lifetime on hold on the rare occasion something goes wrong but I wouldn't let that put you off chosing them.

I have Sky digital for the TV connection, and would prefer to stay with them. Do sky have this option. I did not need a land line when connecting up with Sky.

They don't offer Broadband to us (yet) but the NTL can be order solely for the Broadband at good prices too.
