Why don't women get smaller portions in restaurants and takeaways?

is it any wonder that 70% of Irish females are centrally obese when you have women who are 5'4 and small framed eating the same portion size as blokes who are 6'2?

Do restaurants and takeaways even give you a choice of portions unless you're a child?

    Noun 1. shmuck - (Yiddish) a jerk

    - a dull stupid fatuous person

People make people obese, not portion sizes.

Well, then it's obviously all the restaurants fault.

Maybe the waiter should take them for a walk after their meals.

Or maybe they should stop stuffing their ****ing mouths.

No, they have a one size fits all attitude. They're making our women fat! They could save a fortune if they gave our women a more appropriate sized meal.

Meh, I'm 5'4'', eat the same portions as anyone else and amn't any way obese.

    It's not the portions fault.

I'd imagine it's the snacking between meals, a lack of exercise and general self-respect that are turning Irish women (and men) into fatties. I very much doubt that it's the portions in Irish restaurants which aren't particularly large anyway.
